Dr. Carletta Barnes-Ekunwe was born and raised in Mississippi. She received her DMD degree form the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2003. Dr. Barnes also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998 with a BS in chemistry and earned Masters in Public Health from the same university in 2001. She maintains her private practice in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
